I shed tears and blood for this drawing.

Haha, not really. But it took me almost FOUR YEARS to finish. (I started this one in July/10).
It was very experimental. I sketched and scanned. I made the lineart on Photoshop by hand first. Then I got my tablet. This was my first drawing on SAI. (not the first I finished, though...) I learned a lot by making other drawings and experimented with a lot of things in this piece.
The level of details and my own stubborness to make it the most perfect I can are the cause for the delay.

The inspiration for this drawing, back in the day, was: LoZ Twilight Princess (the game I was playing at the time I made the first sketch)... a song from Ayumi Hamasaki - Real Me- and a fanfic (Hero of Wolves by The Wolfess) . See, I still remember!
I like TP, it's not one of my favorite Zelda games, but TP Zelda's design is so pretty (and SO HARD to draw, what I was thinking.... T_T). The original background was the throne room, but I wasn't satisfied. In the end, I inspired myself with Bridge of Eldin stage from Super Smash Bros Brawl. (you know... twilight with the castle in the backgound)

I wanted to draw Zelda with her sword and a badass atiitude. But I modified her face so many times, it's a shame.

In the end, I'm so proud for finish this fanart. Sometimes, I almost gave up. But I need to focus more and finish my drawings.

This was made with a lot of love (and despair). I hope I made justice to my favorite princess, Zelda.

Sketch colored on SAI, minor edition on Photoshop CS4.
